For the last several years I've designed payments and billing infrastructure across entertainment payroll, childcare ed tech, and nonprofit arts — increasingly leading technical initiatives like architecture and AI-augmented workflows, with the discipline financial systems demand: idempotent retries, zero-downtime migrations, and real-time observability.

Migrating live systems that actively process payments — dual-write transitions, formal state machines, backfills, and safe deprecation paths.

Real-time volume monitoring, provider-aware thresholds, missing-funding detection, and the alerting that gives operations adequate response time.
